East Van’s Jamjar and Odd Society Spirits Join Forces for Cocktail-Paired Lebanese Feast January 30th.

The GOODS from Jamjar

Vancouver, BC | Jamjar & Odd Society are collaborating on a 4-course family-style Lebanese feast. Being neighbours and celebrating the cultural diversity of East Van, we’ve put our efforts together to put on a memorable dining experience. The menu is curated by Chef Bakhos Mjalleh and paired with four unique artisanal cocktails crafted by the talented team at Odd Society.

Limited seated availability at the bar for $65 per person. Seated dinner tickets are $77 per person. Tickets for this January 30th event can be purchased here (they include both a welcome drink and gratuities).

Located on Powell Street in East Vancouver’s port district, Odd Society Spirits is dedicated to combining Old World distilling traditions with New World ingredients and ingenuity to create a family of spirits including whiskey, vodka and gin.

Founder and Distiller Gordon Glanz holds an MSc in brewing and distilling from Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland where he experimented with distilling whiskey using raw grains and commercial enzymes before studying under the masters at Springbank distillery in Campbeltown.

Now back in his home town, Gordon is applying his penchant for experimentation and knowledge of tradition within the Odd Society, which he operates alongside his wife, Miriam Karp.
