About Bar Tartare
A Gastown wine bar with a passion for the farmers and winemakers who produce the wines they pour – and tartare. Expect familiar faces, natural wine, rotating chefs, and good hospitality.
Tartare’s food program is built on partnerships with skilled chefs, each bringing their distinctive cooking style and menu (and their tartare recipe). Since opening in October 2023, guest chefs/restaurants have included: Chef Alvaro Montes De Oca, Lucas Johnson & Devon Latte, Chams Sbouai, Alex Sandoval, Mark Singson, Pasta Al Mano, and Chef Dave Gunawan.
