About The Stable House

The Stable House Bistro is tucked away just off Granville Street and is named after the stable houses that used to populate South Granville at the turn of the century. Opened in 2013 by a group of locals who wanted to celebrate a sense of community by creating a meeting place to share good food, wine & time together. The bistro has since become a beloved institution in the neighbourhood. In 2018, the Stable House was joined by its sister restaurant Fiore Famiglia & in 2022 by Brasserie Coquette.

The menu is ever-changing at The Stable House, but the concept of welcoming you remains the same. The wine list is curated by sommelier Christina Hartigan. With 17 wines by the glass and a thoughtfully selected reserve wine list, you will always find some crowd favourites, but we hope to pique your curiosity & help you to discover some new wines. The signature cheese & charcuterie boards and small plates are prepared with the intent of pairing with the perfect glass at the bar or sit down with friends and enjoy the Chef’s Menu for the table.

Open 7 nights a week for dinner, the Bistro also offers Lunch Tuesday-Friday and Brunch over the weekend. Reservations are available online and the bar is always open for walk-ins. During summer, join us on the picturesque street-side patio – voted one of Vancouver’s best! Happy Hour specials run daily from 3-5pm.
