Celebrated Portland Chef in Town to Collaborate on a Special Multi-Course Feast

On November 7th, Cioppino’s Mediterranean Grill in Yaletown – just named one of the Top 50 Italian restaurants in the world (one of only two in Canada) – will host chef Cathy Whims of Portland’s acclaimed Nostrana restaurant for a special multi-course feast. It’s part of the EAT! Dinner Series. Some context:

Chef Pino Posteraro was named as Knight of the Order of Star of Italy in 2018, becoming an ambassador for Italian culinary history and technique. The first chef to receive this honour in Canada is joined by Portland’s Chef Whims, channeler of the soul, psyche, and techniques of Italy. Chef Whims has earned her six nominations for James Beard Best Chef Northwest and was recognized as a diplomatic culinary ambassador by Hillary Clinton. You are amongst internationally renowned excellence at this exquisite dinner rooted in culture!
