Situated along Main Street, Burdock & Co invites couples and friends alike for an evening marked by sultry candlelight, whitewashed brick, reclaimed wood, and rustic ambiance. On Friday, February 14, the eatery will host a Valentine’s Day dinner seating of culinary inspirations of Owner & Executive Chef Andrea Carlson. Farm-to-table fare will take spotlight, supported by sustainable seafood, locally grown produce and ethically raised meats. Menu highlights include cherry leaf-wrapped scallop terrine with sakura ice, shiso and black rice; and roasted annatto-rubbed venison with smoked tomato glass and atomic red carrots. For dessert, a ruby chocolate and pistachio feuilletine cake with ruby mousse and rose honey, and rhubarb profiterole completes the feast. If the desire strikes, diners may add naturalist wine pairings for an additional cost.
