Bells and Whistles Details New Year’s Eve Plans

Vancouver, BC | Bells and Whistles invites old-school hip-hop fans to gather together and ring in 2019 when the award-winning Fraserhood restaurant and beer hall hosts ‘The Ball Drop’ on Monday, December 31.

Beginning at 9 p.m., Bells and Whistles will kick off the countdown to the new year with a celebration featuring DJ ELdjLOCO presiding over a dance floor, a full menu of gourmet burgers, sandwiches and ballpark-friendly fare and its signature selection of local and import beer, as well as complimentary party favours and bubbles provided for partygoers at midnight.

The restaurant, which marked its first anniversary this fall, was recently singled out as Best New Destination at the 2018 edition of the annual Golden Owl Hospitality Awards, which honour the best of Vancouver’s restaurant and bar scene.

Bells and Whistles has also expanded its menu by introducing Happy Hour services featuring an assortment of food and drink specials from 3 to 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. until close Sunday to Thursday as well as all-day drink specials including double highballs, and Parallel 49 Craft Lager and a pickleback for $8 each on Fridays and Saturdays. Happy Hour services will not be available on New Year’s Eve but will return to the regular menu on Tuesday, January 1.

TICKETS | Tickets for Bells and Whistles’ ‘The Ball Drop’ New Year’s Eve event are available for $20 per person, while quantities last, in advance at the restaurant or online. Tickets will also be available at the door on Monday, December 31 for $25 per person.
