The GOODS from The Irish Heather

Vancouver, BC | This Thursday May 7th, gather friends and family in hoisting a pint at The Irish Heather as Vancouver’s only Irish-owned bar kicks off Cask Nights. Running every second Thursday through Sunday, The Irish Heather will feature a new cask produced by a leading beer producer with sleeves priced at $6 (16oz). Any beer left over will be served on “finish our cask Sunday,” where cask beer will be priced at $5 per sleeve until it runs out.

The first cask to be featured is Phillip’s Brewing Co.’s Hoperation Tripel Cross, a traditional Belgian IPA dry hopped with Amarillo Hops, clear and golden in colour with 2+ fingers of sticky head. Through the mid-thick cover layer comes notes of coriander, wheat and hops. The flavour is delightfully hoppy in a rather mellow manner, balanced with wheat tones and a slight coriander flavour. The cask will be tapped at The Irish Heather this Thursday May 7th at 3pm and is not to be missed!
