Vancouver, BC | Just a few months after a successful opening, VV Tapas Lounge is set to launch their new weekend brunch menu on Saturday, February 15th. Infused with local ingredients and international influences, brunch enthusiasts will be pleased to discover that the elevated lineup is far from basic brunch fare.

Executive Chef Zach Poole’s innovative offerings range from light, artfully designed small plates like Bread and Spreads to hearty menu items such as the Toad in the Hole Sandwich, featuring duck egg, chorizo, cheddar, olive tapenade and herb aioli. Chef Poole’s Kedgeree dish with smoked sablefish risotto, andouille sausage, rapini, poached duck eggs and hollandaise also offers a satisfying twist on a British breakfast favourite. Vegan sausage and cheese alternatives are available, and plant-based patrons can look forward to delectable dishes such as Pan-fried Zucchini Bread topped with salted caramel pumpkin seeds, whipped ricotta and olive oil.

Wonderfully wallet-friendly, the new brunch items at VV Tapas Lounge range from CAD $6 to $15 with the exception of their perfectly shareable Breakfast Charcuterie Board – an extravagant selection of andouille sausage and bra duro cheese along with butter-dipped radish, mole pecans, pickles, olives, poached duck eggs, yogurt and jam parfait and house-made Nutella accompaniments – available for only CAD $20.

Best served with good company, the team at VV Tapas Lounge believes brunch is also perfectly paired with a D.I.Y. mimosas, specialty coffees (add an ounce of house-made Irish cream for just $2) or Caesars, so pull up a seat at the beautiful reclaimed wood bar and enjoy refined fare and a relaxed atmosphere at Vancouver’s newest weekend brunch spot.
