The GOODS from Tableau Bar Bistro

Vancouver, BC | On November 16, Chef de Cuisine Garett Blundell welcomes winemakers David and Cynthia Enns for a collaborative evening featuring French-inspired cuisine, and one of British Columbia’s top vineyards. Visiting from the Okanagan’s Laughing Stock Vineyards, David and Cynthia will join guests for dinner at Tableau Bar Bistro to share winemaking anecdotes, answer questions, and pour wine pairings with each course.

“It’s always an honour to share a glass of wine with the winemakers themselves,” says Chef Garett. “We’re thrilled that David and Cynthia will be joining us to pour a few of their favourite vintages, which will be a wonderful complement to Tableau’s French-meets-West Coast cuisine.”

This special dinner will include an amuse bouche and three courses followed by dessert. Every course will be paired with a Laughing Stock wine. Tickets are $129 per guest, plus tax and gratuity.

Only 20 seats are available for the Laughing Stock dinner, and interested parties are encouraged to reserve their seat immediately. To book a ticket please contact events [at] tableaubarbistro.com or call 778-373-1620.

“It’s French bistro done well enough to make me hungry at the thought of it.” – Mia Stainsby, Vancouver Sun Food Editor “You’ll go for the ambience and stay for the cocktails (which are excellent). But you’re bound to return, again and again, for the food.” – Alexandra Gill, The Globe and Mail

“Really great food. Great staff too. If I lived in that hood, I’d probably drop by once a week.” – Sarah Rowland, 24 Hours Vancouver

French-inspired eatery does it right – Metro Vancouver “Executive chef Marc-Andres Choquette (Lumiere) and executive sous chef Tret Jordan (Raincity Grill, Bacchus, Elixir) come with a fine dining pedigree that would be hard to match anywhere in the city.” – The Vancouver Sun

“Tableau channels New York bistro in much the way Joe Fortes channels San Francisco, that is to say, with a good deal of polish and sophistication. I plan to go back. Hell, I’d even pay.” – Randy Shore, The Vancouver Sun

“It’s to die for.” – Erin Ireland, Metro Vancouver
