The GOODS from Campagnolo Roma

Vancouver, BC | Campagnolo ROMA is set to host a memorable dinner featuring guest chef, Jonas Stadtländer alongside our very own Jesse McMillan. Our Quinto Quarto dinner honours the whole animal as well as British Columbia’s exceptional autumn bounty and will be taking place on Friday, October 13. Quinto Quarto is held at ROMA only a few times per year in recognition of the important Roman culinary tradition of nose-to-tail cooking. This particular dinner will celebrate fall’s harvest, combining unique cuts of meat known as the fifth quarter (quinto quarto) with seasonal produce sourced direct from the farm, and paired with local beverages. Tickets for Quinto Quarto: Tredici are $100 and can be purchased at quintotredici.eventbrite.ca.

About Jonas Stadtländer:

Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario Stadtländer hails from one of Canada’s most acclaimed culinary families. As the son of renowned German Born Chef Michael Stadtländer, Jonas brings with him a wealth of global culinary experience. Jonas trained at his family’s Farm to Table restaurant at the Eigensinn Farm on the Niagara Escarpment in Ontario where he began cooking innovative Canadian cuisine all the while attending to farm chores.

Prior to a stint as the chef of Sooke Harbour House, Jonas worked in various positions throughout Japan including time with Gordon Ramsay and at Joël Robuchon’s internationally acclaimed restaurants, as well as the Niki Club-a gorgeous boutique resort in the heart of lush green mountains, located just north of Tokyo.

Before heading to Japan, Jonas managed key stations at Restaurant Wielandshöhe, a two starred Michelin restaurant in Stuttgart, Germany. He also spent time working at the Penfold’s Estate Restaurant in Adelaide, Australia.

As a father to two wonderful children, Jonas prides himself on passing on his love of nature and food by taking the kids crabbing and foraging for local mushrooms. Jonas can often be found along the beaches gathering seaweeds or hiking the hills of Sooke, BC.
