The GOODS from Ocean Wise

Vancouver, BC | Discover the unique mating habits of aquatic life at the next Vancouver Aquarium After Hours. On Thursday, March 16, the galleries will heat up as guests learn how animals get down during the adults-only event.

An intimate affair, the event will be open to guests 19 and older and cocktails, beer, and wine will be available for purchase throughout the Aquarium. Guests can explore exhibits on their own and learn about the sex lives of animals through a number of special experiences:

· Listen to a hissing cockroach’s mating call, learn how sharks can reproduce four different ways, and uncover why the ocean is sexy through talks from aquarists.
· Learn about reproduction underwater – from coral sex to otter love – from a special scientific presentation by a veterinarian.
· Catch a screening of the new, exhilarating 4-D film, Coastal Predators.
· Experience hands-on learning with marine invertebrates like sea stars, sea urchins, and more in the Wet Lab.
