Check out the Valentine’s Comedy Night at Parkside Brewery in Port Moody this Thursday, February 14th (8pm) to enjoy some of Vancouver’s top up-and-coming comedic talent, hosted by local comedians Ryan Williams & Alistair Ogden.
The night’s headliner will be Jane Stanton, an outstanding performer who’s been featured at the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival, the Halifax Comedy Festival and on hit TV shows like CBC’s The Debaters, Gus Van Sant’s ABC mini-series When We Rise and A&E’s The Returned.
Tokyo-born, Vancouver-based comedian Yumi Nagashima will also be performing in what will surely be a big week for the comedian as she is set to release her highly-anticipated debut album My Name is Yumi on Friday. Nagashima was recently profiled in Vice Magazine where she was praised for her keen ability to “give people a taste of what they want or expect, then turn the tables without warning.”
