Naramata Bench Wineries Anticipating Good Times at Annual ‘Tailgate Party’

The GOODS from the Naramata Bench Wineries Association

Naramata, BC | We are two months out from our annual harvest celebration, The Tailgate Party, and we hope you can to join us.

Our wineries are always proud to welcome visitors and this fall event is great time to visit this extraordinary wine region.

A 15 km country road starting in Penticton, with the glistening Okanagan Lake reflecting on adjacent vineyards, beckons you to the Naramata Heritage Inn for the Tailgate Party.

Naramata is one of Canada’s premiere wine regions, a top destination for wine enthusiasts, and the Tailgate Party is when you can experience wine country hospitality and our renowned wines all in one evening.

Our 28 distinct and distinguished winery members are circling their trucks at the Naramata Heritage Inn to share their wines and their sense of fun and camaraderie.

And Naramata Chefs are preparing their culinary yummy delights for the party. To date this includes the Vanilla Pod at Poplar Grove Winery; The Patio at Lake Breeze Vineyards; Hillside Winery’s Bistro; The Kitchen at DaSilva Winery; and Ambrosia Restaurant at the Naramata Heritage Inn.

This year’s theme is “Bootleg Bash” celebrating the building of Naramata Heritage Inn and the founding of Naramata in the early 1900s. Hats were popular in those days, so get creative with heritage hats or headgear as there will be prizes.

As always there will be live music and dancing.

The favourable conditions that are good for the grapes here are also good for people and serve to create an idyllic place to visit.

Join us in the heart of Naramata Village for divine wine tasting, local cuisine, and live music.

Tickets are $125 and can be purchased at https://tinyurl.com/Tailgate2018 or by phone at 1-800-656-0713.
