Spectacular Nimmo Bay Wilderness Resort Begins Hiring for the 2018 Season

Great Bear Rainforest, BC | Would you like to work in paradise and join a team of food and beverage professionals who are inspired, engaged and creative? Nimmo Bay Resort is hiring for the 2018 season and we are looking for passionate and talented people to add their creativity and personality to the front of house and culinary team. Nimmo Bay operates from May to October and is located in the Great Bear Rainforest. This is a boat-in and live on-site position with a 3 week in, 10 days out rotation and is ideal for a person seeking a new and challenging experience.

Kitchen: Seeking Executive Chef, Sous Chef, Cook and Staff Chef.

The Executive Chef will be responsible for driving the vision for the culinary experience at Nimmo Bay as well as managing the kitchen and kitchen helpers team (scheduling, team management and communications), writing and executing menus, and ordering and sourcing local, quality ingredients.

The Sous Chef will be responsible for covering the Executive Chef when they are on breaks, and managing the guest lunch menu and execution of gourmet picnic lunches

The Cook’s main responsibility is to support and add to the culinary team. In the past they have managed and executed guest breakfast with the supervision and/or guidance of the Executive Chef.

The Staff Chef will be responsible for cooking and cleaning (dishes and kitchen) for the staff team of 25-35 people.

Front of House: Seeking experienced and professional servers. Our front of house servers provide fine dining service with friendly and personal interactions with our guests.
