The GOODS from West
Vancouver, BC | West Restaurant celebrated its twenty years of dining last week with Guest Chef David Hawksworth recreating a multicourse dinner menu regaling his days at the iconic South Granville venue.
Led by David, the outstanding brigade included West alumni such as Executive Chef Bobby Milheron, former Executive Chef Quang Dang, and former Sous Chef Stephanie Noel along with Toptable Group’s Executive Chef Kristian Eligh. The nostalgic evening featured a sampling of West’s award-winning offerings that earned several coveted accolades throughout its time, including multiple Vancouver Magazine Restaurant of the Year awards.

Toptable Group’s former colleagues, Yoann Therer from Araxi Restaurant + Oyster Bar and Brad Masciotra from Il Caminetto have also competed in the regional heat finals.
“On behalf of Toptable Group, I would like to say thanks to the entire West family who have shown such dedication and professionalism to their craft over the years,” says President Michael Doyle. “They are all leaders and champions for this industry and we celebrate them for their commitment in the pursuit of excellence.”
With another nod to West Restaurant’s storied history, from now and until the end of the month, West is committed to fundraising on behalf of Prostate Cancer Canada by auctioning off the dining room’s iconic glass sculptures from Bricault Design that have welcomed guests throughout the years. Bids for sculptures can be placed online by clicking here in support of Prostate Cancer Canada that helps save lives by improving prevention, detection, and treatment. Take home a piece of West’s history and one of Vancouver’s most adored destination restaurants that have set the standards for many more to come.
