Summer has a way of disappearing faster than you think. One minute you’re making plans to hit the beach; the next you’re digging through the depths of your closet wondering where your winter hats and gloves are. One of the better ways to slow things down and get the most out of summer is to spend a few hours on a farm.
UBC Farm’s June and July workshop schedule offers exactly that. Whether you’re interested in fermentation, baking, meditation, ecology, cooking, or just want to get it together to spend a more time outdoors, the farm has assembled a series of practical, affordable and low-pressure workshops that connect people to food, land, and each other.
