The Goods from Pepino’s Spaghetti House
Vancouver, BC | This Sunday, June 14th, celebrate Italian Day in true red sauce style at the House that Spaghetti Built. Starting at 11 am, Pepino’s is popping up on the sidewalk – but only until the food runs out, so get here early… capisce?
Tuck a napkin into the front of your shirt, loosen your belt buckle, and make your way to the north end of Commercial Drive for a celebration so saucy, it could only mean one thing: Italian Day on the Drive!
For one day only, we’re flinging open Pepino’s picture window and slinging all the Mouse’s faves: porchetta sangwiches with green peppercorn aioli; meatball sliders with whipped ricotta and local arugula; Detroit-style pizza by the slice; and boozy blood orange, Aperol and Campari ‘Americano’ popsicles…
We’ll have Pepino’s merch on hand and complimentary mouse tattoos for the bambini – we’re even hosting an old fashioned lottery-style giveaway for all who stop by in person. There could be a limited edition Pepino’s tote bag filled with $150 worth of swag with your name on it!
The “takeout window” at Pepino’s is open from 11 am to 3 pm, and all are welcome to the spaghetti house formerly known as Nick’s – one of little Italy’s most iconic institutions – to commemorate the culture and cuisine of Italian immigrants on the Drive this Sunday. See you there… and VIVA L’ITALIA!
Pre-order Pepino’s merch online from our website… or book a table for dinner here.
