(via) We’ve coveted slides and detailed coasters before, but none quite as awesome as this alpine doozy that quickly winds its way down a mountain in the Grindelwald of Switzerland. While we understand that there would likely be plenty of opposition against the construction of a comparable equivalent on the North Shore (even it wound its way through the forests without a single tree cut down), that’s little impediment against our dreaming out loud of one. I mean, just look at the thing — those hairpins look gnarly! Imagine the length of the waiver form…
Vancouver already has one. It is in Whistler.
Grouse Mountain had one in the late 70’s “Grouse Mouse Coaster” .
