The Goods from Minami
Vancouver, BC | On June 22, 2025, Minami (1118 Mainland Street), Yaletown’s destination for contemporary Japanese cuisine, is excited to host an exclusive one-night-only sake and culinary experience in collaboration with the award-winning Aizu Homare Brewery from Fukushima, Japan. This intimate event will feature a thoughtfully curated five-course tasting menu expertly paired with premium sakes from Aizu Homare. Only 12 seats are available. Bookings can be made online now.
Guests will be guided through the dinner by Minami’s Sake Specialist, Hana Kagitani, alongside Aizu Homare President, Hiroyuki Karahashi, who will be on hand to share insights into the brewery’s rich legacy, sake-making philosophy, and how each pairing enhances each dish.

The exclusive five-course tasting menu, created by Minami’s talented team of chefs, is $160++ per person and consists of:
