The Goods from Wild Blue Restaurant + Cocktail Bar
Whistler, BC | Wild Blue Restaurant + Cocktail Bar today confirmed Mission Hill Family Estate as the wine partner for its August 16 Long Table Dinner, rounding out a rare trio of 50 Best honourees for a single evening. Wild Blue, The Keefer Bar, and Mission Hill Family Estate are each recognized on a 50 Best list, marking the first time all three partners in the Long Table Dinner Series have held that distinction at the same time.
Mission Hill Family Estate, confirmed this week as the dinner’s wine partner, became the first Canadian winery ever named to the World’s 50 Best Vineyards, debuting at No. 45 on the 2025 list. The Keefer Bar, this year’s cocktail collaborator for the dinner, was named The Best Bar in Canada 2026 and rose 21 spots to No. 7 on North America’s 50 Best Bars. Wild Blue is ranked No. 47 on North America’s 50 Best Restaurants for 2026.
The August 16 dinner returns to The Range at Whistler Golf Club, just steps from the restaurant, for the fourth year of the Long Table Dinner Series. This year’s evening pairs a refined seasonal menu with an exclusive cocktail collaboration from The Keefer Bar and wine pairings from Mission Hill Family Estate, bringing three of the most decorated names in Canadian hospitality to a single table.
“Bringing three 50 Best partners to one table is not something we take for granted,” said Neil Henderson, Partner and Restaurant Director at Wild Blue Restaurant + Cocktail Bar. “Mission Hill’s wines have long had a place in our cellar and pairing them with The Keefer Bar’s cocktail program for this dinner lets us build an evening around the very best of what British Columbia and Canada have to offer.”
Located in West Kelowna in British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley, Mission Hill Family Estate was named to the World’s 50 Best Vineyards by a voting academy of more than 700 sommeliers, travel and wine tourism experts and wine trade specialists. The estate’s wines will anchor the beverage pairings for the August 16 dinner.
The Keefer Bar, located in Vancouver’s historic Chinatown, built its reputation on an apothecary-inspired cocktail program and claimed the title of Best Bar in Canada 2026 at this year’s North America’s 50 Best Bars awards. Working alongside Bar Manager Zack Lavoie and the Wild Blue team, The Keefer Bar’s Head Bartender Virginia Guenette and bartender Asya Hemsworth will be on hand to deliver an innovative beverage experience inspired by its acclaimed cocktail program during the evening’s welcome reception and dinner service.
Under the culinary leadership of Chef Alex Chen and Executive Chef Derek Bendig, guests can expect a thoughtfully curated multi-course menu highlighting the finest local and seasonal ingredients from British Columbia’s land and sea.
The evening begins at 4:00 p.m. with a welcome reception featuring seasonal cocktails from The Keefer Bar collaboration, Perrier-Jouët champagne, and canapés, before guests gather at a communal long table for a multi-course family-style dinner paired with Mission Hill Family Estate wines.
Committed to sustainability and supporting the local community, Wild Blue will once again donate a portion of the Long Table Dinner Series proceeds to the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation.
Tickets for the August 16 Long Table Dinner are priced at $259 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Full menu details will be announced closer to the event, and tickets are expected to sell out. For more information and tickets, visit WildBlueRestaurant.com.
