The Goods from Bacchus Restaurant & Lounge
Vancouver, BC | One of Bacchus Restaurant & Lounge’s most popular and beloved dining experiences, its afternoon tea, returns this summer with a playful twist. Available each weekend from now to September 13, 2026, Bacchus’ Enchanted Tea Party invites guests to fall down the rabbit hole for an afternoon of whimsical sweets and savoury delights.
Bacchus’ Enchanted Tea Party ($75++ per person, prepaid) takes place exclusively in the Bacchus dining room. Guests can choose between two seatings – 2:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., with a two-hour seating time. Reservations can be made online.
Highlights from the menu by pastry chef Samson Iza-Fellows include a selection of: Confections, including the Petit Unbirthday Cake (red velvet, cream cheese and raspberry), Queen of Hearts Lemon Tart with strawberry candy meringue, Pistachi-Oh! Profiteroles with mango lime compote, Curiouser & Curiouser Coconut Guava Panna Cotta, and the Mad Hatter’s Macaron; Scrumptious Scones, from the White Rabbit’s white cheddar and sundried tomato scones with oregano to Cheshire’s coconut and apricot scones; Late for Lunch Sandwiches, including grilled eggplant with artichoke, balsamic and arugula, Coronation Chicken, and cucumber with herbed cream cheese; and savoury Eat Me bites, such as the Tweedledum & Tweedledee Tuna Tart, Topsy-Turvy Mushroom Quiche and Dreamy Devilled Eggs.
Each seating includes a choice of premium loose-leaf teas, including the aptly named seasonal Mad Hatter’s Tea Party blend.
Additionally, guests have the option of enhancing their experience with a selection of sparkling wines by the glass or bottle, including the exclusive Tantalus x Wedgewood Blanc de Noir, Taittinger ‘Brut Réserve’ and Moët & Chandon ‘Impérial’ Brut. Other add-ons include fresh local West Coast oysters, and Kaviari caviar served with traditional accompaniments.
