North Vancouver, BC | Star employee Eric James is moving on in his production career which means SOV is on the hunt for the next rising star. Owners Richard and James are looking to bring on someone to take part in all aspects of production that also has a strong passion for whisky (whiskey, if you prefer). “We are looking for an honest individual with a technical skill set and some sales ability who might want to open their own distillery in the future,” says James. The position is FT with many industry perks. “No direct distilling experience is necessary”

Since opening four years ago, SoV has garnered a fair bit of success and media for the distillery and received some very positive feedback on their regular line of spirits as well as their April Fools releases.

This is an opportunity to work in an award-winning distillery in a quickly growing industry in a small business environment that has all the daily challenges of keeping production on schedule, working on new products, and staying relevant in the industry. SoV is looking for a grounded, honest dude or dudette who can follow processes, has a strong practical technical background, and who can learn from their mistakes.

Operations are very hands-on. Being able to handle yourself with large groups is a must. The ideal person would have a keen interest in distilling and craft spirits in BC with craft beer being a bonus.
