It’s corny as hell to think it out loud and toy with the “absence makes the heart grow fonder” cliché, but we’ve all probably come and gone from Vancouver enough times to know that this is 100% true: one of the greatest things about our city is coming home to it after a long time away from it. We see amazing things when we travel but whenever we start the journey home we get glad of where we come from and stoked for what we get to go back to. Of course it all boils down to access to quality ramen, but the point stands. There is no pill for it; Vancouver is the only cure for our homesickness, and to have it just over the horizon is one of the coolest things of all.
And Vancouver on a day like today cannot be beat except for waking up to it tomorrow……welcome home
