ABOUT TRACTOR FOODS
Our mission is to create fresh, healthy food that does not compromise on flavour. Tractor offers ‘everyday’ staple foods, such as salads, sandwiches, soups and stews, and ensures each menu item is delicious while still being nutritious.
‘Everyday healthy foods’ is also a statement about healthy eating as a key part of everyday life. Our food is created for people who care about what they eat. It is clean and satisfying. For us, healthy means simple, fresh ingredients that are high in nutritional value. Our menu supports a balanced diet with lots of veggies, lean meats and fish, whole intact grains and heart-healthy nuts and fats. Tractor’s informal cafeteria-style service is meant to keep meals easy and accessible, whether eating in one of our restaurants or taking food home.
ACCOLADES
Montecristo Magazine | April 29, 2015 “Enter Vancouver-based Tractor Everyday Healthy Foods, which hits that Venn diagram sweet spot where health-conscious nourishment and good taste overlap.”
Nuvo Magazine | April 2, 2015 “Grilled avocados were the star, but it’s all divine at the new Tractor Foods in Vancouver’s historic Marine Building”
VanCity Buzz | March 11, 2015: “Serving healthy, high-quality food to the neighbourhood is what they do, and they do it well. A menu composted of homemade soups, stews, salads and sandwiches may seem simple, but the reality is that it’s far from easy to get it right, as Tractor does.”
Erin Ireland, To Die For Vancouver | February 27, 2015: “Tractor Everyday Healthy Foods offers a simple and satisfying menu of salads, sandwiches, soups and stews made with nutritious ingredients without compromising flavour. Served in an efficient, inviting, cafeteria-style format, Tractor allows customers a front row seat to see and select exactly what they are getting – fresh, healthy, natural foods.”
