The GOODS from Homer St. Cafe & Bar

Vancouver, BC | Homer St. Cafe and Bar continues its monthly Takeover Series with its latest collaborator, Victoria’s Phillips Brewery & Malting Co..

The Takeover Series sees a different distiller or brewer commandeer Homer St. Cafe’s bar and kitchen for a week every month, offering drink specials, collaborative menu items and ticketed tasting dinners with experts from the participating brewery and/or distillery.

“Hoperation Phillips” Takeover runs February 19 – 25 and will feature a “Hoppy G&T” cocktail made with their Stump Gin, Phillips Tonic and Phillips Hop Drop liqueur along with a flight of 4 Phillips beers from their draught and cask selection. Special dishes that incorporate the gin and beers will be featured on the Fresh Sheet all week long.

The event will close with a guided, family-style tasting dinner on Sunday, February 25, hosted by one of Phillips’ expert brewers. The dinner will feature a welcome cocktail and a flight of four different beers for each course, finishing the meal with a special treat.

Tickets to the dinner are $75 (including tax and gratuity).
