The GOODS from La Pentola

Vancouver, BC | It’s that time again! Chef Travis McCord is taking the term “everything but the kitchen sink” to a whole new level to utilize as much of the cow as possible, hence the name ‘Dinner of the Cow’. You can expect gooey, cheesy, buratta with housemade bresaola; beef tenderloin tartare with pickled rhubarb and tendon crackling; a hay-aged, whole roasted striploin; and much more. Get ready for the usual 7-10 courses, all served family-style! Big groups will be assigned their own tables while smaller groups will make some new friends. Wine pairing by Christopher McFadden will ensure a mind blowing taste experience. Book now as space always fills up fast.

Arrive at 6pm for cocktails. Supper will commence shortly thereafter.
$65 per person $45 for wine pairing | Reserve here.

About La Pentola

8540151708_509a388244_h

Rustic Northern Italian inspired cuisine at La Pentola inside OPUS Hotel. Simple, handmade pasta and traditional nose-to-tail meat and fish dishes served family style are the focus of this award-winning Vancouver restaurant.

“La Pentola is inviting and warm. Ditto the service. The food is rustically elegant, a distillation of real Italy and the food is similar to their northern Italy-based La Quercia and La Ghianda offerings – they zero in on great ingredients and capture the Italian soul. Their pilgrimages and work experience in ‘Slow Food’ Italy is evident”. Mia Stainsby, The Vancouver Sun
