Railtown Catering Simplifies Things With Outstanding ‘Thanksgiving-To-Go’ Feast

Vancouver, BC | Back by popular demand, Railtown Catering is talking turkey once again with their gourmet Thanksgiving-To-Go package that combines their trademark creativity and innovative cuisine in a ready-made seasonal feast ideal for eight to 10 guests, available for pickup or delivery on Oct. 9 and 10.

Once again, partial proceeds from each Thanksgiving-To-Go package — which features a 16-lb sage-roasted organic turkey as the centerpiece along with all the classic holiday fixings and dessert — will be used to serve meals to Railtown’s neighbour Mission Possible, a non-profit organization that provides street-level care for those with immediate and critical needs in the Downtown Eastside.

“We were overwhelmed by the response to last year’s Thanksgiving To-Go package, so we’re thrilled to be able offer it again,” says Railtown Executive Chef/Partner Dan Olson. “Not only does it alleviate some of the hassle from the Thanksgiving holiday, but it’s also a way to give back to those in our community who are most in need.”

Suitable for eight to 10 adults, Railtown’s Thanksgiving To-Go package is only available on Sun., Oct. 9 and Mon., Oct. 10 and priced at $299 plus tax. Packages may be ordered in both ready-to-bake (cold) or ready-to-eat (hot) formats for pickup between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ready-to-bake) or 3 to 5 p.m. (ready-to-eat). Delivery is also available for an additional charge.

Orders for Railtown Catering’s Thanksgiving To-Go package must be received by Weds., Oct. 5 at noon and may be placed online at www.railtowncatering.ca/thanksgiving-to-go or by calling 604-568-8811.
