Chilled Pour-Over Coffee Back at West Broadway’s Modus

The GOODS from Modus

Vancouver, BC | Cold coffee is back in full swing as we re-introduce chilled pour-overs with a tweaked recipe. One of a few cold alternatives, the Modus team follows the Japanese approach for making iced coffee.

Following their base pour-over recipe, this method means continuously chilling the coffee as it’s brewed, starting with nice ice in the decanter. Pouring extra slow is the trick – keeping the overall ratio the same for balance. The result is a sweet cold coffee with all the complex high notes of a hot brew. A punchy start and a flavourful finish as the ice melts.
