Award-Winning Maenam Reveals Exotic, Indulgent Menu for New Year’s Eve Feast

Vancouver, BC | If dinner at Maenam restaurant has been on your culinary bucket list, it’s time to book your reservation and wrap up 2017 in delicious style. On New Year’s Eve, Chef Angus An will serve an indulgent four-course set menu to ring in 2018. For $80 per guest, couples and groups alike will enjoy a meal of flavourful family-style plates at one of Vancouver’s most-loved restaurants. This special dinner can be elevated further with expertly-selected wine pairings, available in your choice of three-ounce or five-ounce pours.

Your meal begins with a selection of one-bite snacks bursting with flavour and texture, like a Spot Prawn Cracker with diced tuna, side stripe prawn and caviar, and Ma Hor with candied prawns and chicken on pineapple with crispy shallots and peanuts. For your second course, choose between Grilled Salmon Coconut with galangal, banana blossom, and creamy coconut or Oxtail Soup of braised tender meat cooked with Asian celery and tomatoes. The main course brings a trio of platters to your table, with a choice of one salad, a fish or meat, and one curry. Save room for a refreshing dessert of either Dok Jok, a coconut ice cream with a Thai wafer and palm sugar caramel, or Thai Tiramisu flavoured with Thai iced tea-soaked lady fingers.
