Cougar | Slang | Thanks in part to our populist Premier Christy Clark, who actually said “Better a MILF than a cougar” on live radio, pretty much everyone in BC knows what a cougar is. Though it is now used by misogynists around the world to mean a woman who “preys” on younger men for her sexual satisfaction, we’re pretty certain that this term originated in British Columbia.
