(via) What used to be an abandoned garage on a small island in a Washington State lake has been turned into a beautiful, illuminated waterfront cabin by Seattle design studio Graypants. The small structure incorporates much of the garage’s original materials, plus an antique wood-burning stove, convertible chair/beds hidden in the floorboards, an outdoor shower system, a solid Corian speakeasy bar that disappears with a slide, and interior walls that light up via mobile phone. Something similar would be an ideal small-space getaway on any of our Gulf Islands or along the Sunshine Coast. Photos courtesy of Amos Morgan Photography.
