Vancouver, BC | Siena is looking for a full-time Line Cook. The small, busy kitchen specializes in local/sustainable product, with housemade pastas and sauces. A minimum of two years experience is a similar environment would be preferred, but we will consider all applicants, based on merit. Just off busy “Granville Rise” on West 12th, the gently rustic Siena Trattoria yields a bounty of Italian and Mediterranean flavours, perfect before a show at the nearby Stanley Theatre, or after a day of shopping or gallery-hopping. The room, simply furnished and aglow in saffron and burnt siena tones, bustles with a lively local crowd. This very capable kitchen produces a constantly changing selections of modern and traditional regional dishes. On the menu: all-natural free-range meats, sustainable seafood, fresh house-made pasta, a wealth of small and shared plates and well-priced wines from Italy, Spain and Southern France.
