The GOODS from Fable
Vancouver, BC | On Friday, January 29th, Tofino’s award-winning Wolf in the Fog restaurant led by Chef Nick Nutting takes over Fable in Kitsilano. With a focus on fresh food harvested from the forest and ocean surrounding Tofino, Wolf in the Fog was chosen by Air Canada’s enRoute as Canada’s Best New Restaurant in 2014. Chef Nutting joins Fable’s own Chef Trevor Bird to bring his “fish, forage, feast” sensibility to the restaurant for one special evening with a four course, seafood-focused dinner.
Previous to Wolf in the Fog, Chef Nick Nutting honed his craft at Chef Michael Noble’s ‘Catch’ in Calgary, Montreal’s ‘Garcon’ and ‘The Pointe Restaurant’ at the Wickaninnish Inn on Vancouver Island. Chefs Nutting and Bird met and worked together in Montreal over a decade ago and look forward to working together again for this dinner. Wolf in the Fog also brings Hailey Pasemko and her mixology talents to offer optional cocktail pairings to every course.
Tickets for this special dining event are $60 (plus tax & gratuity) and can be purchased directly from Fable at 604-732-1322 or via email food [at] fablekitchen.ca. Beverages sold separately. Seating is from 5:30 to 8:45pm, as per arranged reservation time. The menu will be revealed shortly before the evening of the event to ticket holders.

Lunch and dinner reservations are recommended. Brunch is run on a walk in basis with the exception of our #BoozeyBrunch on the last Sunday of every month for which limited reservations are taken so that we may accommodate our many walk in guests.

ABOUT Fable
Fable is a farm to table restaurant in the heart of Kitsilano. Born from Chef Trevor Bird’s experience on Season Two of Top Chef Canada and the ‘Restaurant Wars” episode, Fable opened in 2012.
Product arrives daily from local farms resulting in a constantly evolving menu. Fable’s garden and bee hives on the roof top supplement this local fare. All food is made fresh for every service using expert cooking technique and delivered to our guests in a professional and unpretentious atmosphere.
An open kitchen at the front of the room showcases the talented team in our kitchen; this seating right in front of the kitchen line (the “chef’s table”) is the favorite spot of many regulars.
An award winning wine list and house cocktails focusing on local distillers compliment the menu.
