Vancouver, BC | Solmano, a premium small-batch mezcal producer from Oaxaca, Mexico, will transform Comedor by La Taqueria into Cantina Solmano during North America’s 50 Best Bars celebrations in Vancouver. Launching April 19, the four-night residency will showcase Solmano’s flagship expressions: Espadín and Espadín con Mango alongside the debut of its Ready-to-Serve Mezcal Cocktails, all set against a vibrant, Tulum-inspired backdrop complete with nightly DJs and late-night programming.
As the first-of-its-kind offering in the category, Solmano’s Ready-to-Serve Mezcal Cocktails deliver bar-quality beverages in a convenient 12% ABV can. Available in two refreshing flavours: Caramelized Pineapple & Lime and Passionfruit, Apricot & Ginger, each is crafted with premium ingredients and built on a base of Solmano mezcal, offering layered, balanced profiles that reflect both the spirit of Oaxaca and the vibrancy of modern Mexico.

Open nightly from 7PM until late, Cantina Solmano invites guests to step into the world of Solmano and explore its portfolio of premium mezcal and ready-to-serve cocktails while celebrating the leading talents of North America’s bar scene. As the evening unfolds, the space will transition into a lively dancefloor, carrying the energy of the festivities into a late-night fiesta.
Cantina Solmano runs in tandem with Casa Mexico next door at Chupito, where a rotating lineup of acclaimed bartenders from some of Mexico City’s most celebrated bars will take over the Michelin Bib Gourmand-awarded venue across four nights.
