Carrie Bradshaw and Jeff ‘The Dude’ Lebowski Abandon Their Signature Drinks

A few days ago the actor Jeff Bridges teased a new clip of one of his most iconic characters – Jeff ‘The Dude’ Lebowski from the Coen brothers’ film, The Big Lebowski – so there was naturally a bit of buzz generated. Was there a new film in the works…possibly a sequel or a spin-off? The teaser ended with the release date of Superbowl Sunday (02.03.19), so it was most likely either a film trailer or a big budget product advertisement.

Alas, it’s the latter. The new advertisement for Stella Artois dropped online this morning. It sees both ‘The Dude’ and Sex in the City protagonist Carrie Bradshaw (played by Sarah Jesica Parker) trading in their signature drinks – a White Russian and a Cosmopolitan (respectively) – for the basic Belgian beer, causing the staff at a fancy restaurant to lose their shit.
