Caffè La Tana Introduces Private Events Program

The GOODS from La Tana

Vancouver, BC | Searching for an intimate new venue that can execute a seamless, sure-to-impress event? Look no further, Caffè La Tana is now accepting bookings for intimate celebrations, post-meeting cocktail receptions, and other group affairs.

Situated next door to Pepino’s Spaghetti House in the heart of Little Italy on Commercial Drive, Caffè La Tana is a cozy Italian alimentari that has quickly risen to the top of the city’s must-visit list. Guests will be enamoured with the venue’s welcoming design, an intriguing marriage of old-world elegance and whimsical charm.

“Less than a year after opening, Caffè La Tana is already buzzing with loyal customers and we couldn’t be more proud,” says Paul Grunberg, co-owner. “We’re excited to play host in our little alimentari by introducing private event options that allow guests to truly get to know the space while enjoying our renowned hospitality with their colleagues or loved ones.”

Designed by Craig Stanghetta, co-owner and his talented team at Ste. Marie Art Design, the caffè and grocer evokes alluring flair with forest green bench seating, antique shelving, ornate woodwork and hand-drawn wallpaper depicting willful woodland scenes. An idyllic example of elevated décor, Caffè La Tana’s Instagram-ready design has caught the attention of notable industry publications, including Wallpaper*, Conde Nast Traveler, The Globe and Mail, and ELLE Décor among others.

Of course, the menu is the main draw of any event, which is why Caffè La Tana’s fare has been crafted to win over even the most discerning palates. Culinary offerings pay homage to Italian traditions of cicchetti (canapés), and dining with guests family-style. Menu highlights include freshly made pasta, rich burrata, perfectly cooked mussels and seasonal vegetables. The menu is also enhanced by aperitivi (pre-dinner drinks and snacks) and generous pours of Italian wines.

Upholding the Italian reputation of legendary hospitality, Caffè La Tana attends to every event detail, ensuring the dining space, food, music, and service exceed expectations. The eatery can comfortably accommodate 50 guests for a standing cocktail reception, or 20 guests for a seated affair. Guests may opt for half or full buyouts; for enquiries and pricing, contact [email protected].
