The Terrace offers an unforgettable al fresco dining experience overlooking Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vineyards and set against the spectacular backdrop of Okanagan Lake. This year, the Mission Hill Family Estate Culinary Team has put together an outstanding menu that features locally, sustainably and seasonally sourced food. Each dish is carefully prepared with elegance and style and paired perfectly with Mission Hill’s award-winning wines.
2016 Culinary Season Highlights:
Open daily May 6th to October 9th
Lunch service from 11:30am to 3:00pm
Intermezzo service from 3:00pm to 4:30pm
Dinner service from 5:30pm to 8:30pm

This year, the Terrace Restaurant takes ‘local’ to a whole new level. The Culinary Team meets weekly to decide which local foods are at the peak of their flavour and how they can be incorporated into the menu. Locally-sourced fare is complemented with herbs and vegetables from Mission Hill’s own varietal gardens, along with locally foraged ingredients that add to the spirit of terroir which defines the restaurant’s cuisine.
Mission Hill’s In-house Charcuterie Program: Ponderosa pine tips are used to flavour some of the specialities of Mission Hill’s in-house charcuterie program, which brings mouth-watering cured and smoked meats to the Terrace menu, including ash-coated speck, cappicolo, guanciale, prosciutto and double-smoked bacon.
Estate Honey: To add a sweet counterpoint to the Terrace Restaurant’s intensely flavourful menu, Mission Hill owns and cares for five bee hives that produce up to 90 litres of fragrant wildflower honey annually.
Ocean Wise™ Seafood Conservation: The restaurant’s strong values extend beyond local boundaries. Mission Hill is a proud supporter and partner of the Ocean Wise™ conservation program created by the Vancouver Aquarium to educate and empower consumers about the issues surrounding sustainable seafood.
