Much & Little On Main Street Unveils Its New Spring Line Up Of Emergent Designers

The GOODS from Much & Little

Vancouver, BC | Much & Little is gearing up for an exciting spring season. Located in Main Street’s independent shopping district, the store is stocked with women’s apparel, home goods, accessories, and gifts. It has become a go-to for unique and artisan-based goods and apparel.

Interior Designer-turned-boutique owner Sarah Savoy has secured local and independent designers for Spring — primarily lines produced in North America. The collections are more timeless than trendy; cool and wearable enough for west coast women who adore a polished, casual, effortless aesthetic.

Staying true to her original vision of focusing on well-made products with a story, Savoy hand-picked each emergent designer with an eye on aesthetics, function, attention to detail, and craft — where was it made, how, and by whom?

“I’m excited about our spring lineup,” says Savoy. “I’ve hand selected key looks that really suit Vancouver’s casual lifestyle – clothing that women can be comfortable in, but still look polished at the same time with a bit of edge. The silhouette is more menswear inspired; billowy on the body but definitely not frumpy. Our focus is as always on lots of natural materials – cottons and linens will be strong players, as will silks. I like to invest in simple timeless pieces that are not age-specific and that will be wardrobe staples for many years. And, as usual, we have continued supporting small-scale independent designers.”

About Much & Little

8522680006_caa325732a_b
Much&Little opened its doors in October 2011. It grew from a desire to create a personal shopping experience that offers timeless, beautiful, well-made goods for everyday use. Each item has been hand picked not just for aesthetics and function, but also for the story behind it that creates lasting value. Where was it made, how and by whom? As much as possible, we seek out products that have been created with love and care, with attention to detail and craft.

Though the shop is modest in size, the selection is wide and encompasses everything from housewares, to personal accessories, to women’s clothing. Our goods come from all over – including local, independent designers, heritage brands and fair trade artisans.

For you, we hope this translates into something of value. Where items are of heirloom quality and timeless appeal. Where a seemingly humble object will be something you love to pick up and use each day, and the patina of use just makes it better.
