DINER: East Van Studios To Host “Hawkers Market” With Late Night Food On March 30

Get ready for the Hawker’s Market at East Van Studios’ warehouse (870 East Cordova) on Saturday, March 30th from 7pm until late! Expect drinks, music, lights, mingling, and food, food, food! Organiser Christopher Jerome explains:

Hawkers Market is a monthly recurring marketplace at East Van Studios. Our intention is to support local vibrant food entrepreneurs showcasing their amazing products and skills at our evening markets. Giving them a space to conduct commerce, create a community of food entrepreneurs and a new food hub for local Vancouverites. As for our setting, you can expect interesting and diverse foods, an intensely cool warehouse backdrop, music and lights until late in the evening.

Vendors serving small plates will include Yummus, The Pie Hole, Brown Paper Bag Ice Cream, 2 Chefs/Big Lou’s Butcher Shop, Mrs. Chip, Enrick Gagnon, Constant Noodle, Sunday Dinner, Sugo Sauce, Mellifera Bees, among others. Tickets are 10 advance and 15 at the door. Snag them here.

They will be hosting a second event on April 25th, for which they will include even more vendors (among them Bestie and Earnest Ice Cream).
