The GOODS from The Irish Heather

Vancouver, BC | On Tuesday March 17th, join the Heather Hospitality Group for the company’s 18th year of celebrating St. Patrick’s Day since the opening of The Irish Heather. Hoist a pint at Vancouver’s only Irish-owned bar and savour classic Irish dishes over lunch or dinner – think hearty pot pies, fish & chips, and bangers & mash. Irish pipers and dancers (including Sean Heather’s own daughter, Orla) are sure to entertain crowds throughout the evening and get patrons into festive spirits. Whether you miss your family and friends back home that you cannot be with, or you simply love the Irish culture, The Irish Heather has got you covered.

As with years past, the Heather Group has secured Rainier Provisions across the street for “Baby Heather.” So at the very least patrons will get a seat and a drink there, while waiting for space to open in The Irish Heather. Reservations are recommended, please email reso [at] irishheather.com. Bookings will be limited to 2 or 3-hour slots.

ABOUT THE IRISH HEATHER

15159174136_f4b3bfc73e_b
Located in the heart of historic Gastown, this GastroPub has garnered many accolades for its service, food, alcohol and ambiance. The Irish Heather is also home to the Shebeen Whisk(e)y house and the Salty Tongue Cafe, which serves as the dining room for the Irish Heather in the evening and home to the famous Long Table Series.

In a world filled with “Plastic Paddy” establishments, the Heather stands out as a beacon of authenticity. An Irish House that is owned by Irish people who actually work there.
