DINER: “The Parker” Gets A New Chef In Curtis Luk, Formerly Of Kitsilano’s “Fable”

by Andrew Morrison | Fable chef de cuisine and Top Chef Canada competitor Curtis Luk (above, center) has taken over the kitchen reins at The Parker from exiting chef Jason Leizert, who is on his way to Ontario before explorations in South America. Luk’s forthcoming new menu will continue the restaurant’s existing seasonal focus of local produce and its sustainable benchmark of zero waste. Diners can expect some favourites (chickpea fries) to remain among Luk’s new sharing-style dishes, and maybe even a tasting menu if we’re lucky.
