The Acorn’s New Early Autumn Menu in Full Effect on Main Street

The GOODS from The Acorn

Vancouver, BC | As the summer winds to an end there’s at least one thing to look forward to: Fall harvest. The Acorn’s early fall menu is now in effect with delightful new dishes ushering in the deep oranges and greens to mark the season. We recommend starting with the new roasted eggplant and horseradish pate, topped with purple sauerkraut, pickled mustard seeds and fresh horseradish, followed by the fusilli calabrese, adorned with a caramelized fennel cream and fennel top pesto. To finish, try the new pistachio and rose sugar dusted beignets with concord grape jelly and orange blossom crème anglaise.

Other new dishes (available for as long as the warm weather permits) include a hazelnut and almond tart filled with Klippers Organics cherry tomatoes, Hungarian sweet peppers and macadamia nut cheese; and a panzanella salad, also featuring tomatoes from Klippers Organics along with toasted focaccia, arugula, basil vinaigrette, lemon basil puree, and sunflower seed paprika crumb.
