The GOODS from Jamjar
Vancouver, BC | At Jamjar, we pride ourselves on serving authentic and fresh Lebanese food. Due to the size of our kitchen, we buy our produce daily and use it all up by the end of the day and start all over again. We pair that with an uncompromising focus on patrons, paying attention to the details and personalizing every customer interaction. We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager who is able to lead a small but dedicated team in day to day operations.
Apart from being a wizard, we are looking for a person who thrives on human interaction, both with team members and customers alike; someone who has the desire to make a difference and the drive to make things happen. While experience comes second to passion and natural talent, the position entails mastering a combination of administrative and technical skills. Bartending experience is welcome, as is experience with scheduling, ordering, problem solving, and a keen eye for driving business. You will also need to be able to multitask and are in your element under pressure.
If you feel this describes you, we’d love to hear from you. Applicants may direct their letters to Fadi at jamjartalent [at] gmail.com.

ABOUT JAMJAR
Jamjar is a “from scratch” approach kitchen inspired by traditional eastern Mediterranean flavours and a passion for home-style Lebanese cooking. Due to the abundance of fruit and produce in Lebanon, households often convert their excess fruits into jam, and in true Levantine spirit they share their creations with neighbours and friends.
At Jamjar, we replicate this gesture of unspoken generosity and showing of affection through food, on a daily basis. We source our produce daily, ensuring our food is always fresh. We also partner with local producers and suppliers in order to support the local community that supports us in turn. In keeping with tradition, Jamjar sells its dips in recyclable mason jars that customers bring back for refills at a discount.
Located on diverse Commercial Drive, Jamjar weaves perfectly into the rich tapestry of cultures found in this welcoming neighbourhood.
