Vancouver, BC | Bestie is a friendly little sausage and beer parlour in the heart of Vancouver’s Chinatown. We’re looking for a Kitchen Assistant with a willingness to learn. We have an open style kitchen and you’d be working with a good crew in a busy little shop. Main responsibilities would be dishwashing, kitchen and salad prep, and assisting with line cook service.

This position is for evenings and weekends and starts as part time with an option for full time as things move along. Experience is good, but not necessary. Good work ethic and positive vibes are a MUST. Our menu changes daily, weekly and seasonally. Our kitchen is active and open, with a solid team and busy rushes. Bestie is a friendly little sausage and beer parlour in the heart of Vancouver’s Chinatown. Inspired by German street food, Bestie serves up a selection of finely crafted sausages, hand cut fries, tasty side salads, fresh baked pretzels, and Chinatown’s finest currywurst. We work with master butchers and urban farms, whole ingredients, and sustainably raised meats. We’ve got three curated taps of local beer, some odd German bottles, both colours of wine, and a storied selection of schnapps. Bestie is open for snappy lunches, friendly dinners, late night eats and thirsty visits anytime. Just look for the neon sausage.
