As we are a growing company, we are looking for someone who wants to not only grow with us but help us do it by bringing your strong knowledge of restaurant systems, analytics, team building, and ego free attitude to our team.

La Mezcaleria is Canada’s first Mexican restaurant offering the finest small batch mezcal, tequila, and cocktails from different regions of Mexico. We cook our food from traditional Mexican recipes made with local, organic and sustainable products when available and focus on creating dishes that are meant to be shared with friends and family and chased with a sip of mezcal. We proudly offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options on our menu. At La Mezcaleria, we strive to make every guest who walks through the door feel welcome, happy, and at home.

You are enthusiastic about everything to do with the restaurant and bar industry. You have a passion and appreciation for food, fine spirits, and giving the highest level of service to every guest who walks through the door. You have previous restaurant management experience and have a strong level of knowledge surrounding the development and implementation of systems. You continually keep your team inspired and motivated by setting an example through your personal drive to learn and motivation to give your best.

What Is Mezcal? Mezcal (also: Mescal or Meskal) is a spirit distilled from mash made out of the steamed hearts of various species of agaves. The word mezcal comes from the Aztec language, the Nahuatl, and means “cooked agave”: mezcalli from metl = agave, ixcalli = cooked. Historically, mezcal is the general term of agave spirits made in Mexico.
