The GOODS from Nineteen Ten

Vancouver, BC | Nineteen Ten Home Boutique, a BC designers’ preferred decor shop on Main Street, is set to launch its E 28 Collection on November 24, 2015. Integrating reclaimed butcher block wood and stainless steel for both beauty and durability, the three piece furniture line features the Station Block for kitchen or studio, the Prior Table for living room or bedside, and the Main Bench for entrance or hallway.

Made in collaboration with Pacific Design Lab, the E 28 Collection is designed for both versatility and customization, with individual pieces starting at $500 (CAD). Each piece comes in one of three wood finishes; the stainless steel supports can be powder-coated in black or white, or left to shine, untreated.  Additional shelving in a selection of shapes may be added to the Station Block for maximum form and functionality.

Nineteen Ten Home and Pacific Design Lab first came together in 2014 to produce the exclusive, burnt fir wood cutting boards that have since become a shop classic. Named after the nearest avenue to the boutique, the concept for the E 28 Collection took its inspiration from the character and history of the natural material it employs and from the city of Vancouver itself. Main Street is a physical connector between design studio and shop, bridging the two locations; its namesake bench is a reflection of that idea of shared space, mimicking and memorializing the lengthy street.

The E 28 Collection is designed to become a sought-after assembly of practical modern classics. The official unveiling of these signature pieces will take place in store with a private viewing party on November 24, 2015. Wine and cheese will be served. Please RSVP via Eventbrite.
