Vancouver, BC | On January 24th, The Acorn Restaurant and Odd Society Spirits present A Distiller’s Dinner, a 5-course tasting menu with cocktail pairings at The Acorn. Tickets are available for $90 via Dine Out Vancouver’s events page here.

Featuring a seasonal menu designed specifically for this occasion, The Acorn and Odd Society are collaborating on cocktails meant to compliment each course using Odd Society’s unique and celebrated spirits. “We’ve been working with Odd Society since day one. Their spirits make their way into our signature cocktails due to the particular flavours that make them truly stand out from the rest,” said Shira Blustein, owner and GM of The Acorn. Acorn’s innovative bar team Liam Bryant and Aimee Corno, along with Odd Society mixologist Kylie Bartlett, are working closely with Chefs Robert Clarke and Brian Luptak to create carefully paired cocktails for the event dinner.

The Acorn is an award-winning vegetable-forward restaurant and bar located at the heart of Vancouver’s Main St. It is a destination for diners seeking the best and most creative meals made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Carefully crafted dishes cater to vegans and gluten free diners while ensuring that even the staunchest meat eaters leave fully satisfied.

Odd Society is a small-batch craft distillery in the heart of East Van. Located on Powell Street in East Vancouver’s port district, Odd Society is dedicated to combining Old World distilling traditions with New World ingredients and ingenuity to create a family of spirits including whiskey, vodka and gin.
