Chef Ned Bell Gets Set For Wild BC Spot Prawn Boils At Yew, May 29, June 5 + 12

Vancouver, BC | Local food lovers are counting down to the launch of Wild BC Spot Prawns on May 12 to abound on local plates for six delicious weeks. Wild BC Spot Prawns are a delicacy known around the world for their sweet, delicate flavour and firm texture. Best cooked with a gentle touch, Spot Prawns are delicious grilled, steamed or sautéed and shine in salads, chowders, composed dishes and simply paired with melted butter.

Wild BC Spot Prawns are a favourite of YEW Executive Chef Ned Bell and restaurant guests will have the chance to enjoy them in various compositions on the lunch and dinner menus throughout their season. YEW is also launching its first Wild Spot Prawn Boil Series. On May 29, June 5, and June 12, a limited number of guests will be able to book a seat at YEW’s communal table for an interactive, get-messy feast. There are only 14 seats per evening for this event and tickets are priced at $85 per person.
