We Want This Anti-Inspo Tote From Adam J. Kurtis

We’re a pretty satisfied bunch, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t covetous. Sometimes we see things out there that we just must have. Cool Things We Want is an archive of those earthly desires.

If you’re (jaded) like me then the only thing that “inspo” culture (you know, all those cheesy italicized motivational phrases clogging the canals of Instagram etc.) inspires is your gag reflex. That’s why it was so refreshing to stumble across this anti-inspo tote bag from Brooklyn-based artist, author and generally creative and clever human being, Adam J. Kurtis. I’d happily carry this uncensored and baggage-free bag with me 24/7.

It’s about time that someone called out this bullshit cliche – “Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life” – and corrected it with a dose of realism that gives hardworking and passionate people some actual due respect. Props.
