The GOODS from Bestie
Vancouver, BC | There’s a lot of talk about craft cider these days and up here in the Pacific Northwest we grow a lot of apples. The harvesting of these apples happens at two times, late summer and mid autumn, depending on the varietal.
After the apples are picked, cider can be made. To celebrate this glorious time of year, Bestie is doing a cider week to showcase this beautiful, historic beverage.
Running Monday, November 17th to Sunday, November 23rd, you can try small batch farmhouse cider and limited edition seasonals from some of the finest, (and newest) cideries in the Pacific Northwest.
Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia are all represented, and there’s even a few from across the pond. So come by for a cup and see what’s going on in craft cider.

ABOUT BESTIE
Bestie is a friendly little sausage and beer parlour in the heart of Vancouver’s Chinatown. Inspired by German street food, Bestie serves up a selection of finely crafted sausages, hand cut fries, tasty side salads, fresh baked pretzels, and Chinatown’s finest currywurst. We work with master butchers and urban farms, whole ingredients, and sustainably raised meats. We’ve got three curated taps of local beer, some odd German bottles, both colours of wine, and a storied selection of schnapps. Bestie is open for snappy lunches, friendly dinners, late night eats and thirsty visits anytime. Just look for the neon sausage.
